Shaun Raaff is the Founder and CEO of Humanity. For the last 15 years’, Shaun’s passion has been helping others perform at the highest level. A firm believer that all individuals and organizations have the potential to achieve greatness, Shaun has leaned on his diverse background in Sports Psychology, Education and Recruitment to build a people services firm that is like no other.

Shaun has a deep desire to contribute to social development and the success of young people in South Africa – and in 2012 he founded MAD2Run, an annual fundraising event within the MAD Leadership Foundation (led by rugby legend Francois Pienaar).

Each year, MAD2Run participants run in a non-stop relay from Johannesburg to Cape Town – and they have since raised millions of Rands put towards the education of SA youth.

In addition to heading the Humanity group, Shaun plays an active role in coaching and developing people leaders, advising on talent and recruitment strategy, and speaking/appearing as a Talent thought leader across different platforms and global industry spaces.

Andrea Osterloh is General Manager of Humanity Staffing Solutions and a Partner at Humanity. With over 10 years’ experience in recruitment, temporary employment services and executive headhunting, she understands the world of talent acquisition and attraction incredibly well and as worked for some of the largest global talent agencies.

The Staffing Solutions business currently operates across Southern Africa, Middle East, North America and Canada, and East Asia – actively sourcing permanent talent as well as contract & remote workers.

In addition to leading this growing business, Annie partners with business leaders to advise on external staffing practices, talent acquisition strategy, talent attraction, and crafting innovative operational solutions to recruitment needs.

Laura Pycraft is Head of People Solutions at Humanity, and a leader & expert in the fields of Employee Experience; DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging); and Talent Management.

Over the last decade she has successfully partnered with various multinational JSE, LSE & NYSE listed organizations in designing & implementing global talent interventions – enabling them to build captivating experiences, better leaders, healthier & safer environments, effective employee value propositions and aspirational employer brands.

Some career highlights include leading robust Executive Succession Planning initiatives for global organizations with 10k+ headcount, designing & implementing Women’s Forums for multinational organizations, and spearheading the development & application of unique methodologies and technology platforms that allow for agile value-creation using Talent data. Her industry experience spans Media & Entertainment, Mining & Resources, Manufacturing & FMCG, Building, Construction & Property Development, Renewable Energy, ICT, FinTech & Financial Services, and Banking.

Craig Page-Lee

Craig Page-Lee leads the Humanity Employer Branding practice and is a marketing and communications expert with 30+ years of experience building impactful global brands.

Craig is a seasoned brand, marketing and communications industry specialist with extensive experience in building brands and aligning brand purpose to drive business growth. He has managed global brands and diverse teams across multiple geographic locations.

Craig possesses a creative, innovative, and entrepreneurial mindset, and is a strategic relationship builder, team leader and mentor.

His collective years of experience have allowed him to bring a diverse set of specialist skills and a truly integrated delivery capability to the communications industry.

He has held senior leadership roles in various WPP, Interpublic Group (IPG) and Dentsu International agencies, enabling him to work across 8 Pan-European and 6 Pan-African regions. He has also supported business development teams in Europe, Asia and North America, and has lived in, and worked from London on two occasions.

Craig is co-host with Kevin Britz on the Lunchtime Marketing and Leadership podcast series which is broadcast every Thursday on ebizradio.com, YouTube and Spotify. They have produced over 185 weekly episodes to date (November 2024).

With just over 5 years’ in her field, Chrisna is dedicated to building workplaces where individuals and teams can thrive. She has implemented solutions & programs within several industries, including FMCG, Technology, Communications and Banking & Finance.

Chrisna has built multiple unique Engagement and HR Effectiveness assessment methods during her time with Humanity – utilizing them as diagnostic and planning tool with clients in Construction, Engineering, and Financial Services.

Portia Sibanda

Portia Sibanda is a Junior Consultant with strengths in analytics and design, and a rising star within the People Solutions team.

Since 2021 she has supported clients & delivered on numerous high-quality assets including a wide range of policies, research & data analysis, training & development programs, as well as events management and project administration.

Portia services numerous clients in our HR Foundations pillar, on integral processes such as Engagement Surveys, building Job Profiles, Org Designs, Salary Benchmarking, and Performance Management.

She has worked across industries including Building & Construction, Mining & Resources, Manufacturing & Engineering, FMCG, and Banking/Finance.

Keren-Amy Laughton

Keren-Amy Laughton is a Senior Consultant at Humanity, and is a qualified and registered Industrial Organisational Psychologist, with strengths in her knowledge of human behaviour and in-depth understanding of business environments.

Keren-Amy started her career in consulting, particularly in the growth and scaling of start-ups and SMEs but was soon attracted to the endless possibilities in innovative technologies and how we can best use it for the betterment of people.

She has worked in a number of different industries including IT, marketing, legal, retail, and restaurant businesses. She has proven track record of managing short- term, critical organisational development projects, as well as partnering with long-term clients, executive and decision-making management teams in a transformational and strategic HR capacity.

Keren-Amy joins Humanity’s team from Nando’s where she drove employee experience and people tech innovation. She is an internationally published author, conference speaker and lecturer, and believes in building the next generation of people specialists to best create sustainable and engaged workspaces.

Craig McConnell boasts over 30 years of experience in business and leadership, both in South Africa and internationally. He has held executive roles in diverse businesses and has served as a coach and mentor to prominent industry leaders across Africa. Currently, Craig leads the Leadership Development & Coaching practice at Humanity South Africa.

With 18 years and over 5000 hours of coaching experience, he is an internationally accredited executive coach and a founding member of the Gauteng chapter of the International Coach Federation (ICF).

For the past 19 years, Craig has advised multinational leadership teams worldwide on how their behavior impacts organizational culture, employee experiences, and performance. He emphasizes that leaders who understand their behaviors, limitations, biases, and beliefs, as well as those of their teams, are more effective influencers in their industries.

Craig’s expertise as an executive coach is enriched by his diverse background in the dramatic arts, neuroscience, people and culture, and strategic leadership. This unique blend enables him to empower professionals to project confidence, clarity, and credibility in their leadership roles.
